Music started blasting from the radio causing a sixteen year old girl to groan and roll to her side, mentally glaring at the radio alarm clock. Her hand fumbled for the snooze button, she finally found it and hit it with all her might, before smiling slightly and snuggling into her purple duvet, sighing happily. Unfortunately for her, she unwillingly decided to peek at the time just so she could see just how long she could snooze till breakfast. When she saw the time, her blue eyes popped open, before screeching at the site. She instantly jumped up and ran to her bathroom, slamming the door closed. She quickly undressed and took a quick shower, seeing as she only had an hour to get ready for school.
She sighed as she wrapped a towel around her slim body, looking into the mirror at her damp blonde hair and radiant blue eyes. She just smiled slightly before changing.
Twenty minutes later, that same girl was in front of her bathroom mirror, in a tank top, and skinny jeans. But, her hair was dry and in a messy bun as she applied her make up. Now, she wasn’t necessarily a girly girl, although she wasn’t a tom boy either. She liked make up, but not too much. In fact, she didn’t even need it. She only wore it to bring out some glow. Smiling, she put her blush back into her make up bag and took out her mascara, not noticing the new figure in her doorway.
"Hey, Andi, Mom told me to come get you for breakfast." The figure told her, leaning against the doorway of his older sister’s bathroom, and watching amused as her smile turned into a glare, gripping the mascara tube with her left hand, and reaching for the blue Kleenex box next to the sink, right before swerving around to face her nosy younger brother.
"Dylan! I could’ve been naked what the hell is wrong with you!?" Andi yelled, about ready to hurl the box at the snickering 13 year old boy.
Dylan stopped laughing and smirked. "Well, you’re dressed. I did nothing wrong." His eyes widened when he saw the Kleenex box flying at him. He immediately ducked, making the box fly past him, and hit the wall in Andi’s room, where she kept all her pictures. Thankfully, nothing broke or fell down. He breathed a sigh of relief that it didn’t hit him and turned back around, now facing his angry sister, who was crossing her arms and tapping her foot on the floor.
"Get OUT!" Andi yelled. Andi wasn’t a snob, at all. Her and Dylan actually got along, but when he annoyed her, he really really annoyed her, making her want to hurl a rock at his head. But, she knew that if she did, her parents would ground her and wouldn’t let her go on the school trip to Aspen on Friday. And who would want that? Certainly not her.
That would mean she wouldn’t get to go skiing with her long time crush, Brandon James, on Saturday! Which would mean, he wouldn’t fall in love with her (thanks to her awesome skiing skills), then he wouldn’t marry her, they wouldn’t move to Malibu, she wouldn’t become a famous dancer, her and Brandon wouldn’t have the cutest kids in the world, and they wouldn’t get to grow old together all because she threw a measly rock at her little brother! That would just be the end of the world. At least, in her eyes. Also, she couldn’t spend two whole parent free weeks, every teenagers dream, if she stayed in Virginia. No, Kleenex boxes were good for now, thank you.
What do you think?
Do you want to read more or should I just stop it?
The plot is:
A 16 year old girl, Andi Benson, goes on a school trip to aspen, thinking it would be normal and stuff, but then she meets Mackenzie Evans, her twin sister, who is a pop star and is on tour in Aspen, but Andi never heard of her which is why she’s shocked, so, Mackenzie wants to know how it feels to be a normal girl for once, and Andi wants to know what it feels to be a pop star. They both know that they’re adopted, but don’t know who their parents are, and while they were walking through a storm, they decide to take cover in which they think is an abandoned house, alone, which is their parents vacation house, and without knowing, their parents come to the house and they meet them, but then the girls have to make a decision, to stay with their adoptive parents, or live with their real parents. Oh, and they discover that Andi’s enemy, Brooke, is their little sister.
PLEASE tell me what you think!
Okay, first, their parents DON’T live in Aspen, they live in Virginia, where Andi lives. But Mackenzie doesn’t, which means she has a bigger choice to make. And, The title, is Superstar Sister. But if you have any suggestions on the title, please say them!
I’m still thinking over the name I might change it,
